Participation in the Social Innovations Competition of the World Bank "Strengthening role of local communities for better quality of life"

"Ecoproject" became the finalist of the social innovations competition organised by the World Bank for civil society organisations from Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine. On May 27th, 2003 Minsk hosted a final presentation of the project ideas, where "Ecoproject" team introduced its own project idea among other 45 teams from 3 countries. The idea of the Dacha Ecoteam for better quality of life and sustainability at the local community level was very well received by both visitors and the participants.
