Message It is wonderful that Ecoteam approach is so successful in Nottingham. We would be very glad to learn from your experience, Penney.

I know that one Belarussian organisation tried to make an assessment of savings from being involved in the Ecoteam approach, and saving for a family of 4 people was equal to the price of 2-3 hamburgers if I am not mistaken. This is obviously not a very strong (financial) incentive for prople to be involved. And the level of environmental awareness is very low to count for. Also recycling opportunities are not so broad for the households (particularly in blocks of flats in the city).

How did you manage to get people's participation and commitment, and what would you suggest for Minsk case?
